Kenny Rogers Enjoys Vocalizing with Visitors

My life kind of resembles a country and western song, and I like to sing to visitors and other cats so my name is fitting. I lived in the attic of an artist's studio for a while, and my fur got as dirty and dusty as a a cowboy's hat after a cattle drive. But when I made my way to The Rescue House and a foster home, I showed that I'm quite the showman.

And I've continued it as a member of The Cat Cafe clowder. When I'm in the mood, I'll sprint across the floor of the cat room, often with a little yowl to announce my intentions. I've become friends with most of the cats here, including the resident grumpy old man Leo.

As you can imagine, I need to go to a home where there is another playful and active cat. If that's yours, I'll gladly sing my hellos to you.

When my people moved away, they left me and my sister Bella, who I love and need to stay with, behind in the yard. Fortunately for us, kind people saw us and got us to The Rescue House so that we had a chance to thrive. I'm the calmer of the two. You'll find me relaxing by the window and soaking up the sun when I'm not sitting next to people I like. I don't chase toys around too much, but if you get the right toy out and I'm in the right mood, I might swat it a few times. But I'm much happier sitting next to you. Come and see my pretty blue eyes and strange poses.

We are two playful and fun cats who were born outside in a feral colony where our mother struggled to give us what we needed to thrive. We got the help we needed when The Rescue House moved us into a foster home. Once we were ready, we made our way into the clowder at The Cat Cafe. You'll find us chasing wand toys, especially those with feathers attached (even though they might not be for long). And sometimes, we don't need any toys because our favorite toy is each other. Watch us run around the room chasing each other and wrestling. And then the sisterly love will shine through when we snuggle with each other. Come say hi to us. We promise you'll be entertained.

My sister and I were fixtures at The Cat Cafe for a couple of months before she got sick and needed to be isolated from me and the rest of the cats. Before that happened, we were bonded and were supposed to go home together. While she recovered, I had to be away from her and when I learned to live without her, I was able to come back to The Cat Cafe on my own. I'm a playful boy who loves to chase around wand toys and give my chirp meow to people I like. Once I'm done playing, I love to curl up and take a nap in a sunny spot. Don't worry, though. If I do that, you're still welcome to pet me as long as you stick to my head and shoulders.

I was dumped by horrible people in a colony of cats where kind people help with TNR and feeding. While it was okay for me as far as surviving, I didn't like it. I really wanted to go back to a place that I could call home, and that definitely wasn't outside. When the people feeding the cats had the chance to get me to The Rescue House, that's exactly what happened for me. You may see little scratches on me. That's because I'm an inquisitive and strong cat, and sometimes it means that I get my paws or head stuck in doors and have to back out. This means you'll have to be careful to make sure I can't escape to the outside if you take me home. I like it here, but I'd love a home of my own where my silly personality and interesting meow can entertain you.

I was living outside and the people who took care of the colony where I lived noticed how friendly I was. They felt sad that a cat like me was spending his life outside instead of being a loved family member in a home. That's why the got me to The Rescue House. After spending some time in a foster home, I came here. I quickly started showing everyone how mellow and calm I am. One of the cats who I lived in the foster home with came here, and she would entertain herself by wrapping herself around my neck and rabbit kicking me. I didn't mind it at all. Come and meet me and see if there's room for my big body and big heart in your home.
