Ed Settling in to the Clowder at The Cat Cafe
I've been at The Cat Cafe for about a month with my brother Wilber and I'm now starting to get comfortable in the cat room. This isn't a surprise. I lived in a quiet home with Wilber, who I'm bonded to, for about two years. So it's taken a while for me to get used to interacting with a number of people throughout the day.
The quickest way to get me going is to get me to play. There's a toy with a feather that I love to chase around.Get that, drag it around the floor in front of me and watch me go. And then you'll see my big paws and fluffy tail start moving around quicker than you thought could happen.
I do have to go home with my brother Wilber but you wouldn't want to split us up anyway after you see us together.
I was living outside and the people who took care of the colony where I lived noticed how friendly I was. They felt sad that a cat like me was spending his life outside instead of being a loved family member in a home. That's why the got me to The Rescue House. After spending some time in a foster home, I came here. I quickly started showing everyone how mellow and calm I am. One of the cats who I lived in the foster home with came here, and she would entertain herself by wrapping herself around my neck and rabbit kicking me. I didn't mind it at all.
